FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What liquids can I measure with the Rymac Digital Fuel Nozzle?
The Rymac fuel nozzle is designed for low-viscosity light oils and fuels. It works reliably with diesel, gasoline/petrol, kerosene, biodiesel, and light lubricants. It is not recommended for heavy viscous oils, water, or corrosive chemicals.
2. How accurate is the built-in digital flow meter?
When operating within its recommended flow rate range, the turbine meter delivers high accuracy with a tolerance margin of ±0.5% to ±1%. For maximum precision, the meter can be manually calibrated to adjust for specific fuel densities.
3. Does this fuel gun shut off automatically when the tank is full?
No, this is a manual dispensing nozzle. You must release the handle trigger manually when the fuel reaches your desired level. If you require an automatic shut-off mechanism, look for auto-nozzle models equipped with a sensor tip.
4. What is the inlet size, and how do I connect it to my hose?
The nozzle features a standard 1-inch BSP (or NPT) threaded inlet, making it compatible with standard 1-inch fuel transfer hoses, farm pumps, drum pumps, and mobile fuel bowsers.
5. How do I switch the measurement units (Liters, Gallons)?
You can switch units using the control buttons on the LCD meter panel:
Press and hold the CALIBRATE button for 5 seconds until the display unit begins flashing.
Press the DISPLAY button to cycle through units (L for Liters, GAL for Gallons, PTS for Pints, QTS for Quarts).
Press and hold CALIBRATE again to save your selection.
6. Can I reset the total fuel count to zero?
The meter maintains two separate registers:
Batch Total (Resettable): Shows fuel pumped during a single session. Press the DISPLAY button once to clear it back to 0.00.
Cumulative Totalizer (Non-resettable): Tracks the lifetime fuel throughput across the device’s entire lifespan to help prevent unauthorized fuel theft or tampering.
7. How is the LCD screen powered, and how long do batteries last?
The digital display runs on 2 standard AAA batteries (or button cells depending on model revision). Under typical usage conditions, a set of batteries lasts between 1 to 2 years before requiring replacement.

Spot-on accuracy and solid build quality! We use this Rymac fuel gun on our site’s diesel storage tank to monitor fuel dispensing. The digital LCD meter is super clear, and having the resettable batch total right alongside the lifetime totalizer makes keeping track of fuel usage completely hassle-free. Simple to calibrate out of the box and didn’t leak a drop. Highly recommended!

Excellent value for money. Came well-packaged and attached effortlessly to our 1-inch transfer hose. The digital meter measures flow in real-time smoothly with no lag, and switching between units (Liters/Gallons) is straightforward once you check the manual. Perfect tool for tracking diesel consumption in generators and heavy machinery.

Very good digital fuel dispensing gun! The turbine meter is accurate once you double-check the calibration for your fuel type. The non-resettable lifetime totalizer is a great feature for auditing fuel loss. Just remember that this is a manual shut-off nozzle, so you have to keep an eye on the tank while filling, but otherwise it performs great.

Great piece of equipment for site refueling. The turbine flow meter gives very steady and accurate readings during high-volume diesel transfers. The double-display totalizer makes auditing weekly fuel stock quick and straightforward. Fits perfectly onto standard 1-inch hose fittings with zero thread leaks.
